Day #18: Your favorite Pixar film

I love Finding Nemo. Love, love, love. The movie is so sweet and heartbreaking, and I always both cry and laugh whenever I watch it. I can’t help it. The story is so cute and sweet - and I love how the main theme is all about family. 

But the genius story aside, just look at this screencap. Look at the colors of the movie, look at the beautiful artwork. Pixar has managed to create the most beautiful underwater scenery ever. So vivid, tropical, exotic and magical.

And now I think I need to watch this. Yet again. Just because writing about it puts me in the mood.

Day #10: Your favorite song

This one was really hard. Disney has made so many great, amazing and inspiring songs, that it’s almost impossible to choose. But after thinking really hard, I found one. “You’ll be in my heart” from Tarzan. 

Where some of the most popular Disney songs is about love, this one is about family. About that special bond between a mother and her child. It’s probably the most amazing thing in the world… A love so consuming, so unconditioned, illogical and beautiful. A love that knows no boundaries or obstacles.That’s what the song is about. And it touches me deeply. Because even through falling in love is a great thing - nothing will ever compare to the love between a mother and her child. There’s nothing like it in the world.
